Think On The Good Things


 

For I Know

Jason over at Harsh Reality  mentioned in his post Dear Blogger.

“ I hope today you are inspired to show us a little of your life.”

I don’t want to talk about my life because I have been feeling down. I been worried about my mom and brother. I been feeling at a stand still in my life. Lately I want to runaway from home and say “heck with everything”. The thing that keeps me in place is I care. God keeps reminding me things will get better even when I don’t see it. God keeps reminding to think on good things.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.    Philippians 4:8

That is what I am going to do.

I am remembering God doesn’t make junk.

“… I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”  Psalm 139:14

I might be an ordinary person but God can use me too. God is notorious for using ordinary people.

I am going to dance.

  1. I find there are days when it’s difficult to do this. We have to train the mind to focus on God, and the positives He brings and not wallow in the muck of the world. Great reminder for me today to keep looking up! Thank you!
